I received the most exciting news last week, to say I was thrilled is an understatement but my friend Traci had her fourth child, a little girl called Alina. Everyone is well and I rushed out to buy a little pink rabbit which has become the customary gift for any of my team who have a baby. I have wanted to make a baby bib card for sometime but wasn’t sure how?
I wanted to make a little something different than I had before, she really is testing my baby girl card making design skills as this is the third little girl she has had since I have known her and I cannot keep making the same style card now can I?
It was pretty simple to make I folded some whisper white cardstock and placed the largest circle thinlit die so that a whole circle was not cut out so that the white part opens as a card would.
I then cut a scallop circle in pink pirouette cardstock and trimmed of the top section so that the scallop was even all the way around and was flat across the top. I embossed the white front with the lovely lace embossing folder and added a heart punch out and a sentiment from the that’s the ticket stamp set. A little vellum flower was all that was needed to finish it off along with some ribbon and button.
Traci sent me the most adorable photo of baby Alina snuggling up with her pink rabbit, hoping to be able to give her a cuddle sometime soon.
