I made a shaker card using the Festival of Tree’s stamp set from Stampin’ Up for the Stamping&blogging sketch challenge this week.
I stamped the trees in Old Olive and Garden Green and added some glitter to the trees and then used the shaker frames from Stampin’ Up! to create a recess around the circle cut out. I had to cut up a few and make a larger circle and then sprinkled some sequins to the inside of the frame and sealed it with the crumb cake layer. I embossed the crumb cake layer with the stars embossing folder and embossed the sentiment from Good Greetings.
I added a little embossing and a heat embossed greeting on the inside. Here is the sketch I used –
I did swap the circles a little as the placement just looked better but lets go and see what the other ladies have made using the same sketch….
Sandi MacIver -USA
Amy Koenders – USA
Lee Conrey – USA
Claire Daly – Australia
Marine Wiplier – France
Shelagh Freemantle – Canada
Kerstin Kreis – Germany
Patrice Halliday – Larsen – New Zealand

STUNNING again!…Michelle I love that you made this a shaker card and your choice of colors is supurb!…casing for sure!…
Simply stunning Michelle. You have the knack of doing stunning and beautiful so well. This has a wonderful simplicity about it. Has lots of interest yet is not fussy – very well balanced. I too may be using this one for my Christmas cards so hope you don’t mind. I’m a bit embarrassed but need to ask what you used to keep the sequins in? Thinking its window sheet under the Crumb Cake but you may have stuck them or used something else. Sorry to ask but a bit of a novice and obviously a bit dim!!! Thank you for all the inspiration you give.
