Todays card is made using the Butterfly Basics stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and a sketch from Stamping&Blogging. The Butterfly Basics stamps are fast becoming one of my favourite stamp sets from the new seasonal catalogue and the matching butterfly framelits are simply stunning.
I stamped the butterfly on the black background cardstock in versamark ink and embossed them in clear embossing powder and a heat tool to add some texture (it is hard to see unless it is in the right light). I stamped the flower image in black ink on whisper white cardstock and cut a circle using the framelits dies and a hello honey starburst framelit.
I created the hello honey and basic black banners using the very useful stamp in the butterfly basics stamp set and add a gold flourish with the buttons and some linen thread.
Here is the sketch which inspired me….
And lets go and see what the other ladies have designed with the same sketch…
