Today’s card is made using the Balloon Bash stamp set and the weekly sketch from Stamping&Blogging.
I stepped out of the sketch slightly this week and created the oval feature with the balloons. To be honest I have been the builders apprentice this morning and been nipping out for items for them to finish the building work. If I ever mention we are having building work done again, shoot me!
I kept it pretty simple and stamped the balloons and cut around them and added the linen thread. I used the matching paper Birthday Bash with the beautiful gold fleck in it to make the banner and then cut out the just for you sentiment which was stamped in pool party ink.
The lovely yellow background paper is also from the Birthday Bash paper pack.
Here is this weeks sketch….Now lets go and see what the other lovely ladies have made with the same sketch….

I absolutely love how bright and cheery this card is, who wouldn’t have a happy birthday receiving it, LOL..just love lovely.
I love balloons ! 🙂 And I love your card too Michelle !
Thanks for the cheerful balloon card. I needed this idea for a” normal” card to post. The other balloon set is good if it is hand delivered/ special event. See you in Telford?
So pretty Michelle! Love the colors and all of the fussy cutting. What a great card!
Love your take on this weeks sketch, adding the Linen Thread finished it off perfectly. It is a nightmare having builders in, hang in there, it will be so worth it when they have finished 😉
Adorable Michelle. This is one of my fav sets! I love the cut out balloons and glitzy gold with it. Really makes it pop!
These are my favourite stamps and DSP at the moment. Wonderful card 🙂
Michelle, I love the way you tied the gold foil from the dsp in with the foil border…just perfect!
thanks Connie, that is super kind of you x
