Painted Petals from Stampin’ Up!

April 15, 2015 By Michelle Last

I made todays card for the Stamping&Blogging Sketch Challenge using the Painted Petals stamp set from the Spring & Summer Seasonal catalogue.  I really do love this stamp set and will keep everything crossed that it carries over into the new Annual Catalogue which launches on 2nd June.
Painted-Petals-Sketch-Challenge card

Instead of making a card I made a mini treat bag using the treat bag thinlit die and made a card to fit inside.  Here is the sketch which inspired me…

How lovely this card is, Michelle. I didn’t really think I needed that mini treat bag die. Now I know I MUST have it. I thank you. My pocketbook, however, does not, LOL

How about some Cactus Cuties to brighten someone’s day? I love how the little step makes the plants stand out from the embossed brick background. I loved making this card and adding a sponge edge to the cactus for extra depth and dimension. All supplies are from my Stampin Up shop, let me know if I can help x

This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos are truly wonderful. I’ve spent the last three days spending time with them, getting to know them better and meeting some for the first time. They are the most warm, friendly and welcoming bunch and it has been the best feeling to gather together in person with them after so long. Spending time with crafters, customers and demonstrators is the best part of my job and I have friends from all over the world. My heart is full ♥️ #ShareYourMoment #bestjobever #stampinup #michellelast #stampinupnederland #pinkies #stampinupdemonstrator #blessed
