I just love Butterfly Basics from Stampin’ Up! It is a very fine detailed set with matching framelit dies and I suspect when you first look at the stamp set you see vintage, grunge and perhaps that is not your style. Well I hope to challenge your initial thoughts by sharing the 3 cards we made at my monthly card making class.
We always focus on one stamp set and I design 3 cards in very different styles to show the versatility and value of the stamp set. Here is the first one made using all my first thoughts and preconceptions.
As I said grunge, vintage and more grunge 🙂
I do love the framelit butterfly in newsprint. I looks like it has just landed on the flowers.
But wait till you see tomorrows card!
This set and matching framelits are making their way into the new annual catalogue too so its a great investment as you will see lots of ideas and samples in the coming year too!
If you wish to place an online order, don’t forget the hostess code, see more details about adding the hostess code and receiving a thank you gift here.
Here are the items I used to make this card. So have a great day and pop back to see tomorrows card!

Michelle,
What a beautiful job you did on this card! It’s so soft but at the same time very eye-catching. I love it.
Very nice card, Michelle! I just love that I can follow you all the way from Oregon, USA, and see your lovely work as you create. Thank you!
What a stunning creation! Goodness, Michelle, you are so talented, Jo x
This card is absolutely gorgeous! I already own this set but I am pleased it is going to be around a while longer. I from England but have lived in the U.S. For many years. It is so much fun to see how stamper so from all over the world use the same stamps.
