I am currently in Madeira as Simon and I extended our Incentive trip for a few more days as I knew I would find it hard leaving the sunshine and this beautiful Island. I can safely share photos of my swaps with you now that the Incentive trip is over and can’t wait to share photos and experiences with you on my return next week.
I made a gift card using lots of new products. One of the stamp sets which jumped out of the pages of the catalogue was the Garden In Bloom set. (page 119) There are 20 individual stamps and so many different looks depending on which inks you use btu I chose to use the new Tip Top Taupe Ink on Tip Top Taupe cardstock. Unfortunately I did not have enough cardstock to make 54 swaps so some had to be made in the Kraft cardstock.
I stamped the outline image in versamark and heat embossed in gold. I had to enlist the help of Simon and Amy (Dom you made a lucky escape :O) and we started a little production line.
I then stamped the whole image in Tip Top Taupe Ink, I did so much stamping I already need a refill for my ink pad!
I made a note card to fit inside the envelope and added a heart punched out in the new corrugated paper (page 148). I instantly fell in love with the greetings thinlits and Simon cut 54 of these little beauties out of gold glimmer paper, bless him, he does get a free holiday in return!
As always I left it to the last moment and was still crafting the day before I was due to travel but the thought of getting 54 beautiful swaps in return kept me going…. I will share a video when I return of all my lovely swaps.
And you may also notice I ran out of ribbon too so had to use all the neutrals style ribbon I had on hand. I really must plan my swaps earlier next year!
It is always a bit nerve wracking when you make swaps for the high achieving demos so lets hope they like them 😉
Hope you had a wonderful weekend x

Lovely Swaps Michelle! It’s great when the whole family get involved, except Dom, but he has an excuse! Can’t wait to see what you got in return and I can’t wait to hear all about your trip too! Well done as always! Baz xx
Hi Michelle, I am definitely going to make some of these lovely little envelopes for my Christmas money gifts. I usually make then with Christmas paper but embossing them is much more personal so thanks for the lovely tip. I’ll let you know how I get on. All the best, Jessie x
