I made something a little different this week using the sketch from Stamping&Blogging.
I tried the watercolour background technique and graduated it in 4 different shades of pink/purple. I stamped the congratulations sentiment from the Bravo stamp set in versamark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder so that the ink resisted the stamped image.
Then I simply used my aquapainter to wash 4 colours of pink over the cardstock. I created a lift up flap to show the sentiment underneath and attached it to the front of the card with washi tape.
Gorgeous grunge added a lovely backdrop and I stamped it in the colours I used for the background wash.
Why not pop on over to sketch&stamp and join the challenge and make a card using the same sketch?
Lets go an see what the other talented ladies made this week using the same sketch…
