I am delighted to tell you that my mojo turned up again yesterday! It may be a brief visit but it was lovely to have it back on board! I have so many lovely new seasonal products to use and there are definitely some favourites which I cannot stop using including Flurry of Wishes! The new seasonal catalogue launches on 1st September but if you would like a copy sent in the post, please drop me an email with your address (michelle@cbdesign.org.uk)
So today’s share is my last Stamping&Blogging weekly sketch challenge. Sandi and Heather have decided to stop the weekly sketch and will take this inside the stamping&blogging website for its members.
I want to thank Sandi & Heather for inviting me to join in. It took some arm twisting as I really wasn’t sure I could commit to a weekly sketch but I am so glad I did. I have met so many lovely new people and had lots of visit to my blog and for that I am really thankful.
I seem to have caught the bug too as I will be joining a new challenge website called the Global Design Project and it starts on 7th September so what my blog for more details coming soon.
I so enjoyed making this card! I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp to create snow in the sky and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and ink graduated blue ink to create the nights sky background.
I then stamped the tress from the new stamp set Wonderland (another firm favourite) and stamped the beautiful snowflakes (from Flurry of Wishes) in the background.
I think did some fancy stamping with the sentiment using my Stampamajig ensuring that the sentiment was in the correct place on both layers. It did take two attempts so I was really pushing my mojo at this point!
And I even stamped the inside to match…
I just love the new cording trim and I’m pretty sure you will love it too!
Here is the sketch we used –
And let’s go and see what all the other wonderful design team members have made – I’m going miss these girls!
Sandi MacIver – Canada
Amy Koenders – USA
Lee Conrey – USA
Caro van der Straaten – Netherlands
Erna Logtenberg– Netherlands
Marine Wiplier – France
Shelagh Freemantle – Canada

And here are the items I used to make my card. Remember that some of them are from the new seasonal so not available till 1st September (sorry to tease you!) There are new items in the clearance rack today so don’t forget to use this month’s Hostess Code if placing an order for £20+ (or less than £150).

Hi Michelle!
Thank you soooooooo very much for being part of Stamping And Blogging’s design team. I love your artwork and wish you much success 😀 xoxox
WOW, Michelle!!! This card is absolutely gorgeous! You may have pushed your mojo, but it was definitely well worth it! Pinning this one, my dear!
Hi Michelle, yet another lovely card and one I am sure everyone will have a go at making. I know I will. I love the colours and the formation of the trees but I am still trying to get the hang of not stamping a second time in order to get a lighter effect on the trees. I am slowing getting there and a bit happier with the end results. Have you and Dom caught up with all his travelling and his experiences during his trip? Anyway I am off to get dinner ready for my hubby and granddaughters so will catch up soon. Keep up the good work. Love Jessie x
Stunning card Michelle, I love the marriage of those two stamp sets together. Thank you so much for being part of the Stamping and Blogging Design Team for the past year we have loved your weekly contributions.
Your trees look like a photo!! So gorgeous. Will miss our weekly meetings but I will check in on you. It’s been fun connecting with such talented people. Hugs from Shelagh.
