Christmas Gift Packaging using Muslin Bags

September 17, 2015 By Michelle Last

I promised to share one of the other projects from the craft day last weekend.  We stamped a Muslin Bag from Stampin’ Up.  It was pretty quick to make and we just used the standard dye inks which worked perfectly although don’t get the bag wet 😉

Stampin Up Muslin Bag

We inserted a piece of thick chipboard to give us a firm base to stamp on and then stamped our poinsettia with the Reason for the Season stamps.  I used Rose Red and Old Olive ink but some ladies chose Real Red and Cherry Cobbler.  We then stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink (love that font) and added a punched poinsettia which was punched from the Red Glimmer Paper.  It is super easy to make with the Festive Flower Builder Punch, 4 punch outs, pieced a hole and added one of the antique brads.

This was definitely the quickest project on the day.  I have decided to make table gifts for Christmas Day with these little bags and each one will be hand stamped and have the persons initial with a unique pressie just for them!

Hope you love it too!

Here is what I used to make this project, all items are available in my online shop. Click the images below to go straight there and copy and paste the hostess code and add to the order to receive a free thank you gift from me.

Michelle Last - Card Making
How about some Cactus Cuties to brighten someone’s day? I love how the little step makes the plants stand out from the embossed brick background. I loved making this card and adding a sponge edge to the cactus for extra depth and dimension. All supplies are from my Stampin Up shop, let me know if I can help x

This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos This wonderful group of Dutch Stampin’ Up demos are truly wonderful. I’ve spent the last three days spending time with them, getting to know them better and meeting some for the first time. They are the most warm, friendly and welcoming bunch and it has been the best feeling to gather together in person with them after so long. Spending time with crafters, customers and demonstrators is the best part of my job and I have friends from all over the world. My heart is full ♥️ #ShareYourMoment #bestjobever #stampinup #michellelast #stampinupnederland #pinkies #stampinupdemonstrator #blessed
