This weeks challenge for the Global Design Project is easy but I hope the varying designs will get you started on your Christmas Cards if you have not started them already!
I used the stunning Embellished Ornaments Bundle.
I cut the ornament using the framelits with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper using the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits dies.
I adore how sparkly it is. I also love the bauble attachment which is in the stamp set and has a matching framelit die. I did not stamp mine, just die cut it and tied it with the silver cording trim.
I die cut the ornaments shape out of our clear window sheet to have something to stick the fancy cut ornament to, it reflects beautifully too and made it easier to stick down.
I used the pretty music paper from the Home for Christmas paper pack and added a layer of vellum to create a more subtle background to give the bauble its chance to shine…..
….and shine it does 🙂
Lastly the peace die cut is from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies. I also used my new precision base plate when cutting my word die as it just pops out of the framlit so much easier and does not leave any of the tiny indentations from the die.
So make sure you pop on over to the Global Design Project to see what the other talented designers have created with this weeks challenge. Please join us on the challenge this week and share a Christmas card you have made, we would love to see them! You have till Saturday to load your image, I cannot wait to see the entries.

WOW – WOW – AND LOT’S MORE WOW!!!
This is simply STUNNING Michelle and I love it!
Eve xx
Thanks Eve, it was pretty simply really, just a bit fiddly to remove all the little piece of glimmer paper but definitely worth the effort xx
So beautiful and great work. I love your card!
Michelle – This is SO GORGEOUS! I love everything you do, but this is a gorgeous, sweet standout to me. Nice work!
I agree with Nancy – it does look like Jewelry! Beautiful and sparkly, just what we all want for Christmas, lol
It’s terrible.
TERRIBLY PERFECT! My goodness Michelle, I LOVE this. I adore the sparkly bling ornament with the sweet bow, vellum and music paper – all coordinated so perfectly together. Simply flawless.
P.S My Grandfather used to say to my Grandmother every night for dinner…”it’s terrible” and at the end of meal say “terribly perfect” with his deep sturn Irish accent. She would grin and take his plate…..the only time he didn’t say it was when she didn’t serve him any potatoes! LOL
You are so sweet Louise, I just adore your little story and especially the bit about including potatoes, definitely an Irish man!
So beautiful/elegant/divine!!! And I love it to bits. D x
