I promised I would be back with all my news from the OnStage Event last weekend in Brussels. Stampin’ Up! demonstrators get the chance to meet every 6 months and share their love of Stampin Up! and at our recent live event we celebrated for 3 days and saw what product will be arriving in the new seasonal catalogue which launches on 5th January 2016.
It is a chance to spend time together, make new friends and get inspired and ready to face the next 6 months with all the tools we need to make it count!
We are used to getting together but this event was a re-jigged style event with lots of changes and surprises. I love hanging out with my team as we don’t always get the chance.
Here are some of my highlights. I was recognised in the top 5 of all three award categories.
I was 1st place in the UK for Leadership, 2nd place for recruiting and 3rd place for Sales. I also hit my £200,000 career to date sales milestone too! It is thanks to all you lovely people who have purchased from me, joined me and supported me. I would not have earned these awards without my customers and my team and for that I am truly thankful.
We have a wonderfully supportive crew at Stampin Up HQ who help keep everything ticking along smoothly and we all made cards and gifts to show them how thankful we were. Chris is in the photo above (Andre didn’t make the photo) and was totally overwhelmed.
Stampin Up also lavish a special evening on anyone with the title of Silver Elite and we were taken to a party boat and we have canapés and nibbles all evening whilst mixing and mingling with our fellow demos. I had 11 of my direct recruits on this little jolly and it was lovely to spend the evening with them and be appreciated.
We get prize patrol throughout the event and get super excited to win free products, I just love the look of happiness on Katy’s face (bottom right) and the bottom left was the last evening and needless to say that there was a little wine involved and I loved spending time with Clare and Nicole 🙂
Below are some of my favourite people, my fellow team members. I am blessed to know so many wonderful demonstrators and get to share my Stampin’ Up! journey with them!
And lastly, at these events I get to recognise, thank and reward my team for all their hardwork and determination. We swap cards and I received so many gifts and treats that I almost had to buy a new bag!
Brussels was amazing, what is not to like – Waffles, Beer, Frites and Chocolate! I think it may be a good job I don’t live there, can you imagine?
Our trip was marred by the tragic events in Paris and my heart went out to our fellow French demonstrators. Sara Douglass handled this perfectly with her beginning address.
All in all, it was a pretty wonderful few days, exhausting but wonderful. I seem to have come back with a raging cold but am just thankful I did not have it whilst I was there.
So we get to do it all again in 6 months in Telford, it will be the abridged version but still loads of fun so why not join Stampin Up and come along too?
