The party is in full swing, we have laughed, shared and swapped will be dropped. I am having so much fun and have lots to share with you. If you pop over to my business Facebook page there are more photos and posts from the event and now that the first day is done I can share my swaps with you.
Us demos like to swap when we get together at Stampin Up events. What that means is we make a card front, not a whole card and replicate the design as many times as we can (depending on time and supplies) Every time we meet someone, we give them one of our card designs and they give us one of theirs. So you go with 100 of the same card design and come back with 100 different ones. Lots of ideas and the chance to meet lots of new people and say ‘Hi’
It is such a fun tradition and as there will be 600+ at this event I won’t get a swap from everyone but will try and photograph some of my faves to share with you.
Here is mine –
I used the Fluttering embossing folder and stamped the embossed image in 4 different shades of ink to create an ombre effect.
I had a lovely friend come and stamp with me. Chantal was having a play with my stash and feel in love with the fluttering embossing folder and I showed her my video on how to create the stamping on an embossed background technique video but she took it to the next level as she used multiple colours and I knew I had to replicate her design.
Thanks Chantal for the inspiration, love the pop of sparkle, let’s hope everyone else who received one liked them too!
