I am getting a moment or two to play with some of the new products coming soon in the new Seasonal Catalogue. The set I have used today for the Global Design Project Weekly Challenge was top of my list when I first saw the catalogue. I was a little nervous to use Balloon Celebration in case it wasn’t as lovely as I hoped but my nerves were unfounded!
I just adore the graduated shading stamp to add to the balloon image. I embossed mine in gold as I wanted to use blues and golds for this card, you will see why in a moment….
I created a pop up card to reveal the gorgeous sentiment. That was gold embossed too but does show very well in the photo.
I used the gold metallic thread to tie bows around the ends of the balloon, it was fiddly but effective!
and did you spot the gorgeous new stitched Bermuda Bay Ribbon?
So here is why I decided to use blues and golds on my card this week, I took inspiration from Bibi’s card
So why not join us and make something inspired by Bib’s beautiful card? Pop over to Global Design Project to upload your project by Saturday (Boxing Day) and you never know you may be selected as one of the weekly winners?

Michelle, Love the colours and the gold on blue/green is just lovely. I also love the idea of pop up. I did 3D Christmas cards and they were very well received. Now going to try and make 3D birthday cards for next year. Off to spend Christmas with our eldest son and family and really looking forward to the time with our grand daughters.
