You are going to think I have been slacking recently with my lack of posts. Let me reassure you that all is OK, just super busy with Saleabration and lots of events. I am so lucky to have wonderful support from my customers and they are really excited about Sale-a-bration and that is keeping me busy. Added to the fact that I have a very large team of demonstrators to support means that sometimes something has gotta give!
And that my friends has been my blogging and todays Global Design Project post. Please pop on over to the blog to see the cards the wonderful design team have created and we would love you to participate this week also.
A few weeks ago I went to the Netherlands to attend two team meetings. I have a team of demo’s across Europe and was invited to go along and meet with some of my Dutch team members. It was a whistle stop tour as I arrived Friday evening and finalised our plans for the team event the next day with Caro & Helene and her team of Creative Hearts.
They love to get my up early and with the one hour time difference it meant it was super early for me 🙂
I was so proud of Caro and Helene, they put on a splendid event with lots of fun, prizes, training, crafting, ideas and lots and lots of cake. That is one thing you can guarantee there will be at a Stampin Up event – CAKE!
I took a little gift along for Caro & Henny and found these cute little tags in my local florist. I had to make a gift box to house the pretty soap and used my envelope punch board to create the perfect sized box to hold the handmade soap.
Caro & Helene held an full day filled with class ideas, training topics along with some cool projects, here is a little snapshot of what we got up to….
So much inspiration, fun and laughter and I enjoyed every minute with this awesome bunch of women. I was then whisked off to the train station by the lovely Ilse (still giggling now Ilse about getting out of the car at the traffic lights 🙂 and headed off to Lemmer in the North of Holland to meet with the wonderful Henny another team member of mine.
Henny and her husband collected me from the station and took me to my hotel where we had a lovely dinner and got to know one another better. It had started to snow and we had a fine layer the next morning but it did not stop Jan from collecting me from the hotel and taking me back to their beautiful home where they made me very welcome. I was captivated by the view from their beautiful apartment.
It is so lovely to see more of the Netherlands. Simon and I did live near Eindhoven many many years ago but I can honestly tell you I have seen more of the Netherlands since I have been a Stampin up demo and had team members there!
Henny, Febe & Henriette spent the day getting to know one another better. It was a wonderful chance to answer their questions and do some crafting together. We had a fabulous lunch and before I knew it, it was time for Henny & Jan to take me to the airport so I could head home. I arrived home, tired, happy and very grateful for the opportunity to spend time with these wonderful women and get to know them all a little better.
The brief list of supplies I used to make the boxes for the soap are shown below. We have a new hostess code launched today so if you place an online order for £20+ (and less than £150) simply add the code to receive a free thank you gift from me.
