For this weeks Global Design Project Challenge we are all making thank you cards! I simply adore my fellow design team members, they are the kindest bunch you will ever happen to work with and I am truly honoured to be working along side them.
We are making a card for a someone who regularly takes part in the Global Design Challenges and who inspires us with their creativity and ideas!
I am making my card for Bruno Bertucci (the husband of Kylie). I love that he joins in most weeks with the global design project challenge and has some wonderful ideas. You can visit Bruno’s blog and see his card for last weeks Global Design Challenge here, it just melted my heart…. Kylie and Bruno are such a cute couple and simply made for each other.
So here is my thank you card….
I created a watercolour background on a strip of Watercolour Paper using Pool Party, Bermuda Bay & Island Indigo Ink smeared onto a clear block and spritzed with water. I then dried the watercolour paper completely and stamped the flourish from Timeless Textures in versa mark and heat embossed in white embossing powder. I edge the strip with the pool party glitter ribbon and added a vellum leaf, flower and label.
I will be making this card at my Technique Class on Monday 21st March and you can attend in person, as a class to go or just take the video option. More details in the Class tab above.
I really love how the strip pops off the white card background
So come and join us and make a thank you card for this weeks challenge! I could not be easier! And why don’t you join us in acknowledging someone with a gorgeous handmade thank you card?
So pop on over to the Global Design Project and see what the other design team members have made and who they have made their card for…
Below are the items I used to make my card, click any of the images to go direct to my online shop to place an order and for every £45 you spend you can choose a free item from the sale-a-bration offering which finishes at the end of March.
