Welcome to part 1 of our Sale-A-Bration Farewell 2016 Blog Hop!
You’ll be hopping around to 8 countries and will visit 14 amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators, each with an inspirational project for you to enjoy. There’s just 13 days of Sale-A-Bration left and we’re getting ready to say ‘farewell’ to what’s been fantastic Sale-A-Bration of 2016. Currently you’re visiting with me, Michelle Last from the UK. You can continue hopping my using the list of names at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making.
I decided to use the most popular item from the sale-a-bration brochure, at least it has been with my customers. It is called Botanicals For You. People love the fact that the sentiment is large enough to fill an entire card front and that the added flowers and sentiments make this a really useful and versatile set. If you don’t own it already you are really missing out and it won’t be available once Sale-a-bration has ended on 31st March, so this is your only chance! Simply spend £45 on items from the annual catalogue or the seasonal catalogue and choose a free item which could be the one shown below…..
I decided to remove the ‘Just’ part of the sentiment and only inked up the for you with versa mark using the ink pad and the marker and then heat embossed it onto the background in white embossing powder.
I created a watercolour background as I cannot seem to get enough of this technique at the moment using Pink Pirouette, Watermelon Wonder and Hello Honey Inks.
I then stamped the dandelion flower from the Balloon Celebration stamp set which to be honest you have probably overlooked in the stamp set as all I could see was balloons until another demo stamped their own dandelion which is so delicate and pretty.
And I had a fellow butterfly left over from my previous card (see the blog post here) and added it with some of the dazzling diamonds to add a bit of sparkle.
So bright and ready for Spring. I hope I have inspired you and if you would like to make a purchase simply click the link to my online shop (top right) to place your order and for every £45 you spend you can choose a free sale-a-bration exclusive item.
Thank you for visiting today. I’d love to see you back here again next Friday 25th March for Part 2 of our Sale-A-Bration Farewell 2016. The next stop on the SAB farewell hop is Jenni Pauli from Germany, simply click here to keep hopping or use the list below.
There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you won’t want to miss it!
