We are casing the super talented Krista Frattin who is also on the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team. That means she has been selected to design and create beautiful projects and samples to share and inspire others. It is quite an accolade and I believe that this is Krista’s 2nd stint as Artisan too!
How she finds the time to also be on the Global Design Project design team astounds me but she does and she manages to WOW me each week!
I love the colour scheme in Krista’s card so found it easy to case and focused on the colour scheme to make this card –
I wanted to incorporate the striped pink/white DSP so extended the length of the card to make it longer and lined it with a tiny strip of silver foil card.
I create a partial embossed background by copying a technique from YouTube (just google partial embossing). I then make a circle of the silver metallic thread and secured it in place with glue dots and stuck the flowers over the top of the glue dots to cover them up.
I used the bitty flower punch and also the tiny flower is from the tree builder punch.
Here is Krista’s card which we are caseing today (copy and selectively edit).
So pop on over to the Global Design Project Blog to see what all the other design team members have made this week and be sure to add your own entry too as we love seeing how talented and creative you are. You may even be selected as one of the three weekly winners!
