Noah’s Ark Notecard set using Zoo Babies from Stampin’ Up!

I have had this idea rumbling around my head for a few weeks now since my niece had her second little baby boy called Grae.  I was remembering how hard is was with two little children and thought that this would be a great gift for a new mum to send thank you notes.

I adore the Zoo Babies stamp set and cannot get enough of the cute animals and have made a double slider card before using this set – see it here and thought it was time I got to using it again.

I created the ark using the Berry Basket Bigz Die and made a box to fit the notecards and envelopes using the coaster board so it was nice and sturdy.

I made the roof free hand using the scallop die cut from the same die and inked it to make the embossed woodgrain stand out.

I made 6 notecards all with a different animal.  I even stamped the envelopes!

One animal was stamped flat and another was hand cut and raised up on dimensionals.

I used my rotary stamp to spell out hello, thanks and ‘the animals went in two by two’ and embossed them onto soft sky cardstock.

I adore those little zebras!

So much fun to make and great to finally get it out of my head and onto cardstock.  Hope you like it.
