It is our Stampin Up OnStage Local event in Telford today and I am super excited to spend the day with my team and lots and lots of demonstrators from across the UK.
When we meet we make swap cards to swap with one another. It consists of making several of the same card to give to another demonstrator. It is a great way to meet people and also to come home with swaps in different styles, using different products to share in your business.
This is my swap which was inspired by Mercedes Weber. Mercedes is a super talented Artisan Design Team member and I love the cards she makes. I pinned her card a while back and then when I was scrolling through Pinterest for swap ideas I just knew I had to recreate her card almost to the letter!
I made (with some help, thank you to my sister) over 150 of these. Some of them were a slightly more detailed stepped up version as shown above. Then there were 70+ slightly simpler ones and then another 30+ smaller versions using notecards which are thank you cards for my online order customer this month.
You may think I would be sick to death of this card now but I’m not I still love it 🙂 Hope everyone else does.
Wising you a great weekend, will have lots of photos to share of the event next week.
Love your swaps. Enjoy yourself. See you next weekend. Now going to make your swap this afternoon.
Very pretty card – sadly I didn’t get one at Telford – but what a great day that was. Great to see you and Sam Hammond in person.
