Do you have Washi tape in your stash and are not sure what to do with it?
At our recent OnStage event with Stampin’ Up! we were all given some rolls of Washi tape and in our group we have set a challenge to show each other ways to get creative with it.
I LOVE Washi tape but tend to collect it rather than using it and we all need reasons to use it up so we can buy more, so let me and my team help you with that today!
I decided to make a baby gift and simply layered the same pattern of washi in lines until I had enough to cut out the babygro shape using the Baby’s First Framelits. I then added some washi tape to a wooden peg (super easy and a really fun way to jazz up pegs). Then I made a background piece for the cafe bags by stamping a sentiment and then layering two different patterns of washi tape. It was SO easy and a great way to create your own patterned backgrounds if you don’t have the right patterned paper in your stash! I just love that little baby grow and bib 🙂
Some members of my wonderful team of demo’s have been busy and I am sharing their beautiful creations with you below….. But I need your help as I would love you to vote for your three favourite projects using the washi tape.
All you have to do is click the heart in the top right hand corner of the image on your 3 favourite projects.
I will award the overall winner with a £20 stamping spree with me as a thank you for taking part. You have until Saturday 30th April at 18:00 noon (GMT) to vote and the winner will be announced on my blog.
If you have totally missed the Washi tape phenomenon here are just some of the current washi tape products available to purchase from my online shop. If your order is £20+ (and less than £150) don’t forget to add the monthly hostess code to receive a free thank you gift from me mid May. There are so wonderful retiring items too which will be gone for good very soon, don’t miss out!
These ladies have been so creative. Gives me lots of inspiration. However, only a couple have hearts so I’m not able to pick my top 3
Hi Rachel, if you hover over the top right of each photo there should be a chance to click on the heart to vote, hope you will be able to choose your favourites x
