This weeks Global Design Project theme is to make a Get Well Card using Stampin Up supplies.
I made this before I left for the Stampin Up Incentive trip and I am so pleased I did as I have my Open House tomorrow and still have lots more to prepare to share with all the ladies who are coming along!
I used Timeless Textures to create the grid backgound and heat embossed it in white and added the flourish. I then used our new sponge brayers to add two colours of ink which gives a lovely subtle background which is easy to blend.
I added the sentiment from Greatest Greetings using Watermelon Wonder ink and added a flower and leaves for some more texture and detail.
I hope you are going to join us over at the Global Design Project and make a Get Well Card too. Make sure you pop over to the website to see all the design team entries, there are some beautiful ideas using new products.
Below is a list of the products I used to make this card, simply click any of the images to visit my shop and place your order. If you spend £20+ (and less than £150) please enter the monthly hostess code to receive a free thank you gift from me.
Have a great day x
If you’re anything like me, I bet you’re running around like a crazy person before your open home tomorrow! You did well to have this ready. And it’s simply elegant and lovely – just like you! I’m sure whoever end up getting this will be sure to be feeling better ‘sooner’! xo
Your sponging of the pink and orange transitions and squared stencil pattern is very unique and attractive. Superb!
I am a loyal blog fan of yours in California and want to thank you so very much for starting out many of my days with a smile from ear-to-ear because of your paper crafting talents ^_^ Your gorgeous card today gave me another cause to do a happy dance!
Thank you so much KT, your comments truly made me smile from ear to ear, you are so sweet x
I hope my GDP039 entry does not look too much like yours!
