I have been crafting like a demon! It’s a busy time in our house at the moment. Our lovely daughter Amy has passed her A’levels and got her University place in Nottingham and today it’s her 18th Birthday! We have had a busy weekend of celebrating and lots of our family will be arriving to celebrate later today so I needed to get ahead.
This week Global Design Project challenge is a sketch challenge and I wanted to try and make a cute bear from the Fox Builder Punch. I made the little baby bear which I adore and was first inspired when I saw Margriet’s card here. I could not decide what the background I should use and then I had a brainwave! How about a little fence with the bear peeking over?
I had so much fun making this fence using the Hardwood Stamp. I stamped onto very vanilla cardstock in soft suede ink. I then scored the lines to enhance the panels and then inked each panel with more soft suede ink.
The light was bad as its been raining all day so my photo isn’t great but I also used a sponge brayer to create the mottled blue sky.
I finished off with two little paws otherwise he would struggle to balance on top of the fence?
Here is the sketch….
We would love you to join in with this weeks sketch challenge. It is easy and you can go over to the Global Design Project and enter your project and will be in with a chance of being one of the top three entries!
