I saw this little notecard box on Pinterest made by a French Stampin Up Demonstrator called Elodie and knew that I wanted to try making one for myself. I used Touches of Texture to make the notecards and I followed the instructions in the link above. They are in French but with lots of photos so easy to understand even if you don’t speak French.
When I made the notecard box I was surprised how little it was, its really cute and would be perfect for business cards or really small notes/tags.
I used the gold polka dot paper from the Pop of Pink Speciality design series paper and gold foil to make the bow using the Bow Builder Punch.
To make the notecards to fit inside the box I simply cut our notecards in half and they fit perfectly. If you wanted to make your own envelope you could use the envelope punch board.
I then decided to step it up and make a larger size using the maximum measurements possible with an A4 sheet. This larger one fits a full size Stampin Up notecard. I used mint macaroon cardstock and Moroccan Designer Series Paper.
Here is a close up of the notecards. I used scraps of coordinating cardstock and washi tape to tie in the notecards with the box. The Touches of Texture stamp set is just lovely.
To show you the size difference I have lined up a regular C5 sized card and both notecards boxes and their contents.

Michelle, again you’ve just made my day! I love the note cards AND the graceful box. I’ve been working on an idea for an oh-too-soon local craft day and I’m sure that a variation on your idea will grab the attention of shoppers and get some attention pointed to the beautiful things one can create with Stampin’ Up! products. Thank you! 🙂
Thanks Blythe, happy to share this cute little project x
