This weeks challenge from the Global Design Project is a Nautical theme! I knew I did not own any of the usual sets which would fit this theme and I have to admit that I googled the definition of Nautical as I wasn’t sure if I could use the goldfish stamp from Jar of Love or if I was pushing the meaning slightly….turns out I was so I went with submarines instead! Random!
I made is into a shaker card which is super easy with the new foam adhesive strips. I had to use the new layering squares framelits (coz I love them!) and the backing paper was perfect from the By the Shore designer series paper. Pretty sure you will be seeing that again and again in this weeks challenge!
So its time to pop on over to see what the other design team members have made using the Nautical theme. Go to Global Design Project to see ideas and also how to add your own entry, we would love you to join in!
Below are the items I used to make this card, all are available from my online shop, simply click any of the images below to go direct to my shop and add to your basket. Don’t forget to use the monthly hostess code if your order is £20+ (and less than £150) and if you earned Bonus Coupons in July you can start redeeming them now!
I love this idea and the combination with this paper! Wonderful
Thank you so much Frauke! x
Cute card Michelle – thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
This is such a cute card – love the colors! And too funny about the goldfish b/c that is the ONLY stamp I had that was even remotely related to the theme this week and that is exactly what I used. LOL!
