Now that Autumn is in the air I thought I would share a lovely bright autumn themed card made using the Vintage Leaves Stamps and matching Leaflets Framelits. I originally saw a card similar to this on Pinterest made by Donna Mikasa and it was so pretty I had to case it!
I stamped the crumb cake background using the hardwood background stamp in Soft Suede Ink. I inked the edges and added a sentiment in Early Espresso Ink.
I die cut the leaves onto Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight cardstock and then stamped the leaf image in crumb cake ink onto the leaves and sponged the edges with Garden Gree, Rose Red and Crushed Curry In. I really wanted to create a vibrant sponged finish so I chose a darker ink to sponge each leave.
Lastly I added the stitching effect using an early espresso marker pen.
Hope you like it, if you would like to buy any of the products used to make this card then pop on over to my online shop to place your own order and don’t forget to add the monthly hostess code to receive a free thank you gift.
I love your leaf card, it is beautiful! Love the bright fall colors, and the shading and stitches. Thanks for sharing!
Love the card. Nice to see bright colours other than brown/ golden shades. Will do some, a break from Christmas cards.
