Today I am literally sharing a WOW card using the Letters for You Stamp set and matching framelit dies. The card is for the Global Design Project’s weekly challenge and this week it’s a colour challenge which means that the winner will be invited to be a guest designer on the next colour challenge.
It is a really pretty colour palette this week and we are using Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron & Rich Razzleberry.
I had this this idea to cut out the word ‘WOW’ and make it into a shaker card. I cut out the letters and then stamped the letter in the relief. I then added the adhesive strips around each letter to make each letter an individual shaker and then added sequins and punch outs from the confetti stars border punch.
I did stamp the beautiful flourish from Falling Flowers and die cut the flowers and leaves from the matching flourish thinlits dies. Isn’t the leaf pretty?
The final flourish was some rich razzleberry enamel shapes in the centre of the flowers.
So I really hope you enter this weeks challenge and make something using the three colours shown above. Please pop on over to the Global Design Project to enter your project and also to see what the other wonderful design team have made too!
All the items I have used to make this card are shown below, click any of the images to go direct to my online shop to place your own order. Please enter the monthly hostess code if your order is £20+ and you will receive a free thank you gift from me too!
So looking forward to seeing what you make using these three colours.

Beautiful project. I haven’t ordered my letters set yet. But, I will! After seeing this! Thank you for sharing. Also, I’d like to know what the relief is? I haven’t heard this term when talking about crafts.
I had to look it up to best explain – the state of being clearly visible or obvious due to being accentuated.
“the setting sun threw the snow-covered peaks into relief”
a method of moulding, carving, or stamping in which the design stands out from the surface, to a greater ( high relief ) or lesser ( low relief ) extent.
noun: high relief; noun: low relief
“he cast them in relief from molten metal”
