Happy New Year lovely blog readers! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and a wonderful New Year and are rested and relaxed and ready to get crafty! This week at the Global Design Challenge we are casing the designer Jess Williams. Jess is a member of the Global Design Project design team, she lives in Australia and has been a previous Artisan Design Team member for Stampin Up! She is super talented and I would love you to pop on over to her blog to see her latest creations.
I have made a baby card using the Moon Baby stamp set. I have started using some of the brand new products from the new seasonal catalogue which launches on Wednesday 4th Jan 2017 so not long to wait to get your hands on the goodies yourself. I am still happy to send out paper copies of the new catalogue so if you have not had your copy yet please do request a copy by click the button on the right.
Isn’t that little baby adorable? I have used the new watercolour pencils to colour in the image and then blended on the watercolour paper using an aqua painter. I die cut some stars using the star die from Peaceful Pines and create a shaker using gold glitter which fitted with the sentiment perfectly. The diagonal edge was stamped with watercolour wonder ink (stamped off twice to get a lighter colour) and the stamp from Gorgeous Grunge and the beautiful ombre ribbon is from the new Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit.
I added another sentiment to the inside from the Moon Baby set…
This sentiment is perfect for my lovely friend who has just welcomed her first grandchild into their family.
Are you ready to tackle your first crafty challenge? Then why not join us at the Global Design Project and case Jess’s card shown above? Pop on over to the GDP to see what the other wonderful design team have made using Jess’s card as inspiration and see the instructions on how to enter.

Awe, what an adorable card – I think this is the cutest baby set. I haven’t made a baby card for my class ever (not many babies being born here in SE Florida – mostly retired folks). Think I may have to get this set and make my first. TFS!
DEVINE! My goodness, this card is so super adorable Michelle. LOVE the colouring, the shaker elements and I studied closely on how you got the stripes – you’re a genius! I’m sure your friend will adore this card as much as her grandchild! (Ok maybe not as much as her grandchild, but it will be close! lol)
