For this weeks entry at the Global Design Project we are sharing a 3D or off the page project and I have opted to use the NEW Window Box Thinlits. This truly versatile and beautiful die would make perfect wedding favours or a beautiful box to hold confetti!
The brilliant thing about the die set (which contains 9 seperate dies) is that you can decide what pattern you cut out in the lid and around the side as there are 4 interchangeable dies. You also can purchase the matching stamp set called Window Shopping and can make beautiful accents for this box or other cards and projects.
And you know I mentioned the dies are interchangeable, it means you can also create cards with the die too! Simple elegant and oh so versatile!
Here is the box with an electric tea light inside which gives a lovely flickering light. I wrapped the box in burlap and mint macaroon ribbon and heat embossed the sentiment onto vellum and layered onto matching mint macaroon cardstock.
I plan to make a ton of these boxes to create a centrepiece for my dining table, imagine how pretty they would look?
Shall we pop on over to see what the wonderful design team of the Global Design Project have made? Please join us this week and make something that is 3D or Off the Page and play along!
