Thanks for popping by today. I am sharing a card I made for a colour challenge with the Global Design Project using the Hey Chick stamp set which is free during our amazing offer Sale-a-bration.
Love this crazy looking chicken and I created the chick wire back ground by using our Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder and Inking one side of the folder with black ink so that it stamped and embossed the design in swipe through the big shot.
I then punched out a circle of cardstock and then cut into the circle to create the opening for the chicken.
I then grunged up the edges and inked the edges with a sponge and the Basic Grey Ink. The chicken itself was stamped on whisper white and coloured using our wonderful watercolour pencils and a blender pen.
As I mentioned this week at the Global Design Project it is a colour challenge and these are the colours you can use to make your own project and share with us to be in with a chance of being the weekly winner and being a guest designer.
Super bright and cheery colours and I really look forward to seeing what you made using these.
Pop on over to the Global Design Project to see what the other designers have created and be prepared to be WOWED!
The products I used to make this card are shared below. Simply click any of the images to go to that item in my shop and place your own order and for every £45 you spend you can choose a free product from our sale-a-bration brochure including the Hey Chick Stamp set.
Don’t forget to use the hostess code when ordering online with me, thank you gifts for January’s orders are being posted out this week, hope they enjoy them!

This is so fun!
How freakin cute is that chicken! I love the pop of its head coming from the industrial backdrop! How clever and I love the grudge of details that border the card and the star of the project! Thanks for sharing you genius!
Love your card Michelle, it is awesome. I love how you have done the chicken peeking through your card – a strike of creativity I admire. Ange from Australia.
Such a cute card Michelle – love the way that Chick is popping his head through
I absolutely love this card – what a fantastic use of the paper, and the escaping chicken’s expression exactly suits how it’s popping out.
I love this chicken. And to think I didn’t even want this stamp set when I first saw it. Boy, was I ever wrong? Just too cute for words.
I am in love with this chicken! I love what you have done with her on this card Michelle. Oh so very cleaver of you. Thanks for inspiring me. Take good care.
Thank you so much Linda xx
