I had the pleasure of making a 70th Birthday card recently for my neighbour. The number of years stamp set is just perfect for a special birthday as the numbers are a great size to display on a card without being too big or too small.
I embossed the numbers with gold embossing powder and layered with the square framelit dies and the stitched shapes framelits. I stamped a background using the playful backgrounds stamp set and timeless textures.
Finally I added some champagne glasses with a little glitter and cut around the champagne glasses as 70 is definitely a birthday worth celebrating.
The happy birthday is from Endless Birthday Wishes and I heat embossed the birthday word to tie in nicely with the numbers.
The lovely diagonal stripe background patterned paper is form our huge packs of patterns DSP available in all our colour families and this one is from the Subtles paper pack.
