I hope you are all having a lovely Easter.
This week over at the Global Design Project we are making projects which are sparkly or bling.
I am not normally known for sparkles and don’t have a strong love of glitter but I used out heat and stick powder and our dazzling diamonds glitter on the Falling Flowers Bundle as the heat and stick keeps the glitter on the card. Heat & Stick is being discontinued so if you love it I encourage you to stock up.
It is wedding season and I decided to use Falling Flowers and Better Together for the sentiment. I stamped the background with soft sky ink and the beautiful swirly stamp onto whisper white cardstock.
I then stamped several flowers and leaves in versa mark and sprinkled over the heat and stick powder and heat set and whilst the glue from the Heat & Stick was still tacky I sprinkled over the Dazzling Diamonds glitter which then sticks in place without rubbing off.
I then die cut the flowers and leaves with the matching May Flowers Framelit dies. You only have until the end of May to stock up on this bundle of stamps and framelits at a 10% discount. They are going into the new annual catalogue but they won’t be offered at a discounted bundle.
The greeting/sentiment is from Better Together which I heat embossed in white onto vellum.
It is so sparkly and I raised the flowers up on dimensionals and added a pearl to the centre of the flowers.
So I really hope you are going to play along this week and make something of your own which is sparkly/blingy and upload to the Global Design Project.
Let’s pop on over to see what the other design team members have made using this same theme, you are sure to be blown away.
All the items I have used to make this card are available from my online shop. Be sure to grab the Falling Flowers Bundle before the end of May to get it at a 10% discount when buying the stamps and framelits together.
