I am using my favourite set today, Jar of Love. I simply adore it and I hear it is carrying over into the new catalogue so that is a whole another year to share ideas and inspiration using this set. This week at the Global Design Project we have a sketch challenge.
My card is made using heavy weight whisper white cardstock and has no layers, I simply masked a line on the card front and stamped the two separate areas of the card separately.
I used the Diagonal Stripe background stamp to create the stripes in Pink Pirouette Ink and then stamped the flowers from the Jar of Love stamp set using Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped the flower off first to create a lighter shade for the whole flower then stamped the flower centre using the Flirty Flamingo ink without stamping off first.
I filled the gaps with the leaves and hearts using versa mark and heat embossed in Silver Embossing powder.
I added a sliver glimmer paper strip down the card to separate the two stamping styles.
I stamped the sentiment from Suite Sentiments in the seasonal catalogue using versa mark ink and heat embossed in silver too. I used the label framelits to cut out the greeting and simply stuck it in place with dimensionals.
Shall we pop over to see what the other design team members of the Global Design Project have made with this sketch below?
We would love you to join this weeks challenge and make a project and upload it to the Global Design Project.
All the items I have used to create this card are shared below and if you click any of the images you will go to that item in my shop and be able to place your own order.

Just stunning Michelle – I love what you have done with the Jar of love set – what a clever way to use it. Also getting that background set out – wonderful. Reminds me I haven’t used it in a while. Awesome card.
This is so beautiful! The different floral pieces from the set make a great background pattern and the silver ups the wow factor 100%! I also love the stripes. I’m a stripes and polka dot girl! Thanks for the inspiration!
Wonderful! Another great idea for that set! I’m glad to hear it is carrying over! Woohoo!! TFS!!
Fab card! The Jar of Love set is on my ever growing wish list! I love the color combo and love the magic of heat embossing. TFS x
