Happy Easter to all my friends and blog readers.
I have recently returned from Stampin’ Up! OnStage in Amsterdam. Demonstrators gather together every 6 months to share new catalogues and products, celebrate and swaps. At these wonderful fun events we meet with team and I get the chance to spoil my team members.
Swaps
We give out ‘swaps’ which are card samples. We make as many as we wish all in the same design (because its easier to make lots of the same design) and swap them at the event with other demos. So that means I arrive with lots of the same card and come home with loads and loads of card ideas and samples in different designs and varying stamp sets. I will be sharing a Facebook live on my business page in the coming week showing you all the goodies and swaps I received so be sure to have liked my page to see the live or watch it back at your leisure
My sister Carolyn is my stamping helper and she helped me make 160 of these swaps as I also used these cards for my thank you gifts to anyone placing an online order with me in March 🙂
I used the Birthday Blooms stamp set which you may have overlooked in the annual catalogue on page 13. I was inspired by Erum Jasmeem. I used the gorgeous grunge stamp set which has been retired and has already sold out but the splatter stamp in Touches of Texture would work just as well and the hello lovely stamp is from the Hello Lovely Project Life Accessory pack (page 163).
I added some sequins in the centre of the flowers which really sparkle, shame the photos does not do it justice.
As I mentioned I continued the theme for my thank you cards and gifts for anyone placing an online order with me in March. These have been posted out (on Tuesday) so I feel I can finally share the surprise gift that everyone will receive this month.
I sent an archival gray ink pad and a 6×6″ silver and gold foil sheets and some whisper white envelopes. I really do appreciate everyone who supports me and my business 🙂
I give a little something to my team members who attend OnStage and have a swap and a little bag with a pack of lace doilies and a handmade reminder of the Statement of the Heart which is Stampin’ Up’s mission statement.
I am so lucky to have a large team and it was so nice to get a hug and share the OnStage experience with them.
I was a little laden down with bags though on the first day! It is no wonder I suffer with a bad back!
And finally some of my team give me presents and I am so thankful for their kindness and generosity that I took along a little supply of Easter treats to give out to my extended team in return for their lovely gifts.
Am gutted that this little bunny from Basket Bunch has now sold out. It proves you need to be quick and snap up your favourites from the catalogue. There are still lots of favourites left so check out the retiring list by clicking the image on the right hand side to go direct to my shop and see the lists or click the link to my retiring list blog post to download a pdf or excel spreadsheet.
Here are the supplies I used to make my swap, click any of the image below to go direct to that item in my shop and don’t forget to add the monthly hostess code if you place an online order for £20+ (and less than £150) to receive a free thank you gift from me.
Be sure to come back on Sunday when I share more of the gifts I made for my teamies from OnStage
