I have a pretty garden themed card made using the Grown with Love stamp set from Stampin Up to share with you today for a colour challenge for the Global Design Project.
I fell in love with the cute stamps with the greeting incorporated into the design.
How I made this card
I cut a strip of very vanilla cardstock 2″ wide and punched the tag topper punch to create a tag.
I coloured the plant pot in Crumb Cake ink, the leaves in Wild Wasabi and the flowers in Berry Burst using the Stampin Write markers. I added versa mark ink to the greeting and heat embossed it in silver embossing powder.
I stamped the flowers again in Berry Burst Ink and hand cut around them and raised them up with the teeny tiny dimensionals.
I drew a pencil line around the tag and then stamped the flowers and leaves from the other stamps in this set in crumbed cake to create a stamped background.
I added some Berry Burst splatters using the Timeless Textures stamp and then sponged with crumb cake ink to add some contrast.
Finally some Glitter enamel dots added a little glitter and sparkle and the Finely Woven Ribbon added some texture.
I really hope you join us this week and create a card using the same colours and share with us over at the Global Design Project.
All the items I have used to make this card are from Stampin’ Up! including the Grown with Love stamp set. If you click any of the images below you can see them in my online shop. Please remember to use the monthly hostess code when placing and order to receive a free thank you gift from me.
