This week at the Global Design Project we have a sketch challenge and I have made a 40th Birthday Card using the Number of Years stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
It was my beautiful cousin’s 40th birthday and I wanted to make a special card for her. The number of years stamp set is a brilliant set for any milestone birthdays you are celebrating.
The stamp set has matching dies which makes cutting out the numbers a breeze!
I added a little string of linen thread around the base of the back part of the card and made the front a little shorter.
I also added a washi tape edging to the white card front and some enamel dots.
The greeting on the front is just perfect for my cousin Nichola. She is just a blessing to our family. She makes us all smile and I was delighted to be able to celebrate her birthday with her and my family. She even had the biggest helium balloon I have have seen with her name on it!
Love her!
Here is the inside of the card….
It is time to pop over to the Global Design Project and see what the other design team members have made using this sketch…
Please come and join us this week and make a card using the sketch and share it at the Global Design Project blog.
All the items I have used in my card are from Stampin’ Up! and available from my shop via the links below. Click any of the images below to go to that item in my shop and if you have any Bonus Codes be sure to spend them this month as they expire at the end of August.
