I have made a card for the colour challenge for the Global Design Project using the Bike Ride stamp set from Stampin’ Up! It is our daughter Amy’s 19th Birthday tomorrow so I made an extra special card with a unique detail personal to our family. I hope it makes you smile.
I stamped and die cut the bike frame, wheels etc and added a little basket of flowers on the back of the bike. Coming very soon in the new seasonal catalogue is this cute little Dachshund so I stamped and die cut him to make him just up at the bike which is exactly what our little Dachshund Pip would do. If she can get a carry or a lift she’d much rather that than walk!
Here are the colours this this weeks colour challenge with the Global Design Project challenge.
It is a slider card and I added a little greeting on the inside too so there is a little surprise when she pulls it open.
If you have not made a slider card before, I urge you to give them a try as they really add a WOW to a card.

❤️you have earned a big place in my crafty heart! I was so excited to see the dashound in the new Christmas catalog, I have had 4 of those sweet pups in my life. Just one now but I will be using that little one a lot. Starting with this idea. Great card. TFS

I love your technique for the slider card with the “stand”, especially the bike and dash hound. Since I am in the U.S.A., my nifty paper trimmer from Stampin Up does not list the centimeters, only inches. I will convert the cm to inches and give it a try.
