I have inked up a new stamp today for the colour challenge for the Global Design Project this week. I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder the Flirty Flowers Stamp Set onto Crumb Cake cardstock.
I then coloured the flowers with Whisper White Craft Ink and an aqua painter and let it dry (you can use a heat tool). I then coloured the flowers in Tangerine Tango and Peekaboo Peach using an aqua painter and for a more intense colour a blender pen. The leaves are coloured with Lemon Lime Twist.
I wanted to add a final flourish and stitch around the edge with my sewing machine but I had the stitch set to too small which is why the top line hasn’t worked out so great! Don’t you love it when you make a booboo on a card that has so many elements to it that you just have to run with it?
Here is the colour combo for the challenge at the Global Design Project this week…
Why don’t you join us this week and make something using these 3 colours, we love seeing what you have made!
Time to pop over to the design team members to see what those beautiful people have made. Click the link to go to the Global Design Project and see more..
All the items I used to make this card are shared below, click any of the images to go direct to that item in my shop and to place an online order.
I love getting online orders and if you spend £20+ and use the monthly hostess code you will receive a lovely thank you gift from me as I really love my customers and want to reward you shopping with me.
Any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

A beautiful card just love the way you have embossed and coloured the flowers. When hand made a booboo is part of it but when sending it the someone I always have to make another one. Thank you for sharing.
I was so pushed for time otherwise I would have made another to photograph but I knew you would appreciate to see that real life isn’t always perfect 🙂 Thank you for your lovely comment x
