I am sharing one of the first Christmas Cards I’ve made. I have used the ever so gorgeous Hearts Come Home Stamp set and matching Hometown Greetings Edgelits from Stampin Up for the sketch challenge with the Global Design Project.
You are absolutely going to love this bundle including the dies as there are so many house/building combo’s and limitless possibilities.
I wanted to go bright and cheery and had a blast using lots of colour, ink, ribbon and paper. I still had my sewing machine out from last weeks card so I added some stitching too!
The trees are from the Card Front Builder Thinlits and add some height to the background. I did ink the trees with the Old Olive Ink and a sponge brayer to add a little texture and the greeting is heat embossed in white.
I added lots of texture and dimension using ribbon, stitching, patterned paper and dimensionals.
We would love to see what you can make using this sketch challenge and enter your projects to be in with a chance of being selected as one of the 3 winners!
Let’s go over to the Global Design Project Website and see what the other design team members have made using the same sketch.
All the items I have used are shared below and if you click any of the images you go direct to that item in my shop and can place your own online order. Be sure to enter the hostess code if you spend £20+ (and less than £150) to receive a free thank you gift as I really do appreciate your business.
Thanks for stopping by!
Nicely done!
I totally love that card and some stitched stuff, how lovely, a really beautiful card!
This card is so awesome, Michelle! I love the country Christmas feel with the red gingham paper and the navy adds such richness! Those bigger green evergreens add to the country feel as well. Fabulous!!!
