Welcome to my blog, today I am sharing a card made with the Hug in a Mug stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I am casing a card from fellow design team member Allison Okamitsu. Allison is super talented and an Artisan Design Team Member with Stampin’ Up!, you must go check out her blog.
I just love this little set in the new seasonal catalogue, it’s a great price at £15 and you can make varying mugs with varying contents and make it suit the theme of your card.
I heat embossed the mugs with white embossing powder and then added colour to the mugs using white ink.
The circle sentiment is cut using the Lovely Words Thinlits and the Layering Circle Framelits.
I used my stamp-a-majig to ensure the ‘sending warm thoughts’ to position my greeting in the gap of the die cut.
I added a raised mug stamped onto whisper white cardstock to give a little dimension.
This is the card I cased this week and I would love you to join us this week and make a card with the one below from Aliison as inspiration…
So let’s pop over to see what the other design team members have made with this card for inspiration. Visit the Global Design Project and the instructions are all there on how to upload your own entry this week.
All the products I have used to make this card are shared below.
