I have more Christmas crafting for you today. This time I am using the Stylish Christmas stamp set from the annual catalogue from Stampin’ Up! I love the layered shaded Poinsettia style flower in this set. With just one ink and stamp you get a beautiful shaded image.
My card was inspired by the beautiful swap card from Bonnie O’Neill, shown here on her blog www.bonniestamped.com
I added some patterned paper to the background as I just love that the 6×6″ Design er Series Paper comes in our colour families so you can find the paper to perfectly match the ink you are using.
I created two poinsettia cards, one using the Merry Merlot ink and Mossy Meadow ink and the other one is made using Pool Party and Mint Macaron Ink. Which is your favourite?
The inside is stamped too and all the stamps used are from the one stamp set Stylish Christmas which makes it a really great value set!
I used the tiny metallic gold pearls on my card. The take your pick tool makes it so easy to pick them up and place them in the right place.
We made this card at a recent Stampin’ Up! party and the ladies loved the card so much that lots of them bought this great value set to make their own Christmas Cards.
One stamp set £20, 2 or 3 ink pads £14 and a pack of pearls £6.50 – What a great deal!
All the products I used to make this card are shared below. Simply click any item to go direct to that product in my online shop and start shopping.
Please use the monthly hostess code when shopping with me. If you spend £20+ (and less than £150) I will send a free thank you gift for shopping with me. More details can be found here.
Stunning cards, Michelle! The pool party rendition is particularly captivating to me… my “happy colors” are a combination of blue and green, like the sky and grass.
Thanks for sharing your talent with the world! I always look forward to your posts.
