The Lovely Lattice stamp set is a FREE stamp set to choose when you spend £45 on Stampin’ Up! products in my online shop. There are 15 FREE items to choose from altogether. I did some fancy fussy cutting and colouring to create this card as I wanted to showcase how pretty the Lovely Lattice set is.
I think the grey and white colour combination work really well together. The card front is embossed with the Tufted Embossing folder. It reminds be of the satin quilted bedspreads I had as a child. The ones that created loads of static and made your hair crackle!
I stamped the Lovely Lattice stamp set onto whisper white cardstock and I did hand cut around the outside of the image. There are a few little tricky bits but with small scissors it isn’t too bad. I then coloured the lattice background with my Light Smoky Slate Stampin Blends marker.
The flowers are coloured with a combination of pink Stampin Blends markers with a touch of Calypso Coral Light in the flower centres to add a pop of colour.
The leaves are coloured with Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam Stampin Blends. It is just about colouring and blending till you are happy with the shadow and depth of colour.
The card was a little flat so I stamped the largest flower again onto whisper white and colour the centre section. I cut it out and added it to the card using dimensionals just to give it extra dimension.
I added the tiny gold metallic pearls in the centre of the flowers.
The greeting is from another of the free stamp set choices called Part of My Story. I stamped it in Basic Grey Ink and cut it into two strips before adding it to the card front. If you spend £90 you could choose both sets for free, or spend £45 and choose your favourite of one of the 15 on offer.
I stamped the centre too with the lovely single flower which is included in the Lovely Lattice stamp set.
