Thanks for stopping by today to see what we have all made using the Everything is Rosy Medley from Stampin’ Up! This beautiful medley of products is only available in May (or whilst stocks last) and you are going to want to get your own as it is so easy to create projects as everything coordinates and the rose gold accent is just stunning! I am so delighted to be hopping along with Teneale Williams and her team INKspired and me and my team the Pinkies. So let’s see what we have all created with the gorgeous Everything is Rosy bundle shall we?
I am a big fan of the Little Observer Books which you can find in charity shops. They are great for your bookcase but also great for blog photography. I like to challenge myself to find one when I am in town. It got me to thinking that I would love to create a mini album using the cover. I realised I had a duplicate copy of the Observer Book of Ships and it had a dusky blue cover which worked perfectly with the gorgeous colours of the Everything is Rosy Medley. So the mini album idea was born….
I decided I wanted to make an album to celebrate all the friendships I have made since I joined Stampin’ Up! which is why I called it the ‘Best of friends’. I covered the printed title ‘The Observer Book of Ships’ with the pretty die cuts included in the medley. This is what the Observer Book looked like before I added the inner pages. I simply used a craft knife to cut away the inner pages of the book and then created an accordion hinge to attach my own pages to.
I am NOT sharing a tutorial to make this album or the measurements as the size of the book you use for your own will be unique. You can google accordion hinge if you want to attach the pages in the same way I did.
I used the stunning patterned paper in the Everything is Rosy Medley to create the inner pages along with a sheet or two of coordinating card stock (Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Seaside Spray & Rococco Rose). I will share the decorated inner pages in Mondays blog post but for now I will share the inner pages before I added photos and jounalling…
I really didn’t need to reach for many extra supplies as the Medley had taken care of the coordination, I simply need to think of ways to make the pages interactive. I will share the first inner page with you but please stop by tomorrow to see the finished album.
So it’s time to go and see what beautiful projects have been created by out lovely blog hoppers. We have 13 blogs and so much inspiration to hop on over to so have fun being inspired by the Everything is Rosy Medley.
Next up is the uber talented Teneale Williams from Australia, simply click this link or click the NEXT button below to see what she has made.
If you get lost on the way here is the list of the blog hoppers today –
Here is the selection of products included in the medley which is available to order via my online shop.
The patterned paper is 6×6″ and double sided. None of these products are available to purchase in any of our current catalogues and are exclusive to this Medley. This Medley is only available in May or whilst stocks last so it could sell out sooner, I would hate you to miss out!
If you would like to get your hands on this beautiful selection of products, I have shared a direct link below to this medley in my shop. Please remember to use the monthly hostess code when shopping with me to receive a free thank you gift when spending £20+ (and less than £150).
And pop back tomorrow to see more inspiration on the inner pages of this album. Thanks so much, have a great Sunday!
