I reached for the Peaceful Boughs Stamp set and matching dies to make my latest Christmas card. The beautiful greeting caught my eye which acted as my focal point.

It is hard to see in the photo above but the fronds are heat embossed in gold and coloured with a Stampin’ Blends marker. The greeting is heat embossed in gold too.
I wanted to add some pattern so I trimmed 1cm off the edge of the card base and added a strip of patterned paper on the edge of the inside of the card. The strip is from the Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the greeting first and then stamped fronds around the edge of the long thin card base using versamark and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.

This shot shows off the embossing a little better. I stamped and coloured two pine cones and added them to the bough with dimensionals.
I hope you love it as much as I do. It is something a little different from me as I used a different card blank size.
