Snow Front from Stampin' Up! for Christmas

I have a fancy Christmas card to share with you today. I really enjoyed making it and loved how the mountain backdrop turned out! The Snow Front stamp set is so versatile but I chose to use it for Christmas.

This card was made using a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 15cm x 27cm and scored at 9cm to make three panels. It still fits a conventional envelope but folds out to reveal the snowy scenes inside the card.

I stamped the mountain scenes from the Snow Front Stamp Set in Smoky Slate ink at the top (underside) of the left and right panel. The right panel needs to be stamped near the top of the cardstock and the left hand panel needs to be stamped a little lower to give a sense of perspective in the mountains.

On the inside centre panel I have sponged Night of Navy and Balmy Blue Ink to create a night sky and stamped stars in Delicata Silver Metallic Ink.

The beautiful die cuts are from the Jolly Season Dies cut in Night of Navy cardstock.

I created a variant colour of green in the trees but adding ink refills to a layered wet wipe. The ink refills I used were Old Olive, Garden Green and Mossy Meadow and I just randomly spotted them on the wet wipe. Leave them for a couple of minutes to move and blend together and then stamp your tree stamp onto the wet wipe to get three shades of green on one stamped image.

I added some of the new Shimmery Crystal Effects on the trees which add a beautiful twinkle. Be sure to leave it to dry.

I inked the edges of the whisper white cardstock with Gray Granite and a sponge as they were too bright.
