The From Our House to Yours set is one of my favourites from the Autumn/Winter seasonal catalogue and it is being retired at the end of this catalogue on 2nd January. The little houses are so versatile and can be used for a multitude of celebrations from New Home, Christmas to a simple correspondence card as shown below.
This card was my swap at the recent OnStage event in Dortmund hosted by Stampin’ Up! I think the From Our House to Yours set has been totally overlooked with all the Christmas loveliness in the early pages of the catalogue but I for one will be sad to see it go.
From Our House to Yours is such a great all round greeting which could be added to a tag on a bottle of wine, an invitation, a gift for a new neighbour, so many things. I for one won’t be parting with my set once it retires.
Another reason I love it is that its quick and simple to stamp. You can keep it simple and stamp in one colour like I did or you can really go to town as I did in the card below.
Once you make the mask it is really not too time consuming to repeat stamp. I really enjoy making these style of cards…
I made this card for my friend overseas who lives far away but it always close in my thoughts. This scene reminds me of Brixham in Devon where we had many happy holidays as a family.
