I wanted to create a fancy fold card which had a pop up element and I could not resist using the Blossoms in Bloom bundle as it’s definitely one of my favourites.

I love the multi layered dies and I used a sponge dauber to add some colour to the bottom layer using pinks, oranges and greens. I also love pink and grey together so I used that for the sentiment and the flower outline.
You are probably wondering where the pop up element is…

It is on the inside of the card and its a simple V fold where I have added more flower dies which are laid flat when closed and then pop up when opened.
It gives an added element of surprise surprise when you open the card to read the sentiment.
I cannot lie, this card was super fiddly to make. The dies have cut outs which made it tricky to adhere to the card so I had to add some backing to some of the flowers.
I really enjoyed sponging Pumpkin Pie and Flirty Flamingo ink using a dauber for the flower and Old Olive for the leaf. And the whole card base was embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing folder and it gives a lovely hammered finish to the card.
Below are all the items I used to create this card and I know you won’t regret investing in the Blossoms in Bloom bundle as its a real beauty and oh so versatile. Simply click the pictures below and it will take you straight to the full details about each product in my online shop.
