With this recent miserable turn in the weather I have been making some projects for Christmas using the Snowflake Splendor stamp set.
This is one of the thank you cards I created to send my customers who ordered with me in August. As I had to make several of the same design I kept it simple and just adding some heat embossing for texture and an added bit of luxury.
The snowflakes were stamped in Soft Seafoam, Balmy Blue and Pool Party and layered over the bottom portion of the card front.
I stamped the small snowflakes in versamark ink and sprinkled Silver Embossing powder over the ink and heat set it with my heat tool.
I also heat embossed the lovely greeting and slightly overlapped the edge of the card (making sure it still fit in the envelope) for some added interest.
It’s a great card to make in batches as it uses minimal supplies and is quick and simple.
I did use the wonderful Banner Pick a Punch to create the ‘V’ on the ends of the banner. Its a really versatile punch as you have to two punch banner designs to choose from and in different widths too!
My final flourish was some rhinestones, you can’t beat a bit of glimmer at Christmas can you?
So if you haven’t even thought about getting ahead with your Christmas cards, maybe this quick and simple design might inspire you to get ahead!
All the items I used to create my card are shared below. If you’d like to place an order, simply click any of the items below to go to my online shop and add them to your basket.
Please remember to use the monthly hostess code when spending £20+ (and less than £150). Thanks so much, I really do appreciate you supporting my business!
