This week I am sharing a team member each day who has been with me for 10 years of more. I am so fortunate to have a large team across Europe and in my time I have welcomed so many people to our Stampin’ Up! team which are called the Pinkies.
We have an amazing community of kind, friendly and supportive demonstrators all enjoying the products and choosing how much or how often they share or if they simply purchase themselves for the discount. This photo of Jenny was taken whilst we were both enjoying the Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip which was an Alaskan Cruise. It was the most breathtaking trip and I am so thankful to have enjoyed a day together to see the Glacier up close with her son Will and my husband Simon. A day I will never forget.

I first met Jenny 10 years ago when a mutual friend bought Jenny along to my monthly card making classes I held in Winslow. Jenny sat quietly in the class but was not phased by the crafting and had clearly crafted many times before. She continued to come along to my class when she approached me to say that she was interested in joining. What a lucky day for me that was as Jenny as gone on to be a great friend but also a very accomplished demo running an amazingly successful business.
Jenny is a Silver Elite demo with a direct team of 24 team members. Up until COVID hit, all her business was conducted entirely face to face but I have watched Jenny step up and share her business purely online and it has made me so proud to see her adapt. I asked Jenny to share her story with us and I hope you enjoy reading.
Tell us a little about you Jenny
My name is Jenny and I am mum to my 22 year old twins Jo and Will. I live in the market town of Brackley, in the central UK, situated on the borders of Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire
What do you love most about being a demo?
The friendships I have built with customers, team and other demonstrators. Plus the fact that it enables me to run my own business from home.
Why did you join?
To provide an additional, non-seasonal business built on my card making business, enabling me to offer craft supplies as well as having products that supported my card making/sales.
What does your business look like?
Pre-Covid19 of course, 95% of my business was face-to-face, running 3 weekly coffee and card sessions, and 4 monthly customers classes, team meetings and 3 annual craft weekends with 2 of my team, Tara and Karen. Since Covid-19 I have moved my entire business online, with daily Facebook lives, monthly classes sent by post and team meetings via Zoom.
Your best memory of the last 10 years?
When I earned my first Incentive Trip to Thailand, and subsequently earning the trip each consecutive year.
One piece of advice to anyone considering buying the starter kit?
Share, share and share again! Make the most of your connections with your fellow team and team leader. You will never be short of ideas or friendships.
Thank you Jenny for sharing with us today. It is a pleasure to know you and to have you in my team.

I absolutely love this photo of Jenny. The delight in her face at being recognised and walking the stage for her incredible accomplishments whilst no doubt waving at her team. Along with other Pinkies and fellow team members by your side, it remains a very special moment to have witnessed.
Jenny is local to me so I am fortunate to be able to meet up for regular catch up and I can honestly say that Jenny is a trusted friend and confidante. You make me so proud to watch you with your team and how you have adapted your business to be stronger than ever.
If you have never come across Jenny, I encourage you to go and check out her blog and her social links and say hi.
It has been wonderful for me to share Jenny with you today and celebrate her 10th year Anniversary with Stampin’ Up! I have no doubt that she will be around for at least another 10 years for sure!
Do pop back tomorrow when I am sharing my final anniversary post with you and if you are tempted to become a demonstrator yourself, I would love to welcome you to our Pinkies team!
Thanks for your lovely words Michelle, it is a delight to be a part of your team. X
