I have another card to share with your today using the Well Suited bundle and the Suit & Die dies from our new mini catalogue. A little less formal than yesterday’s offering which you can see here.

I was thinking of my Dad when I made this card. He still wears a shirt everyday but wears a cardigan not a suit jacket so I simply adapted my card to make it a more casual.

There are dies in the Suit & Tie die set that are for making braces. I created this whole card using the dies and the patterned paper only and choose a suitable stamp which said Happy Birthday from my own stash.

I made the front into a cardigan using a pattern from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper. I made it double sided so that when you open the card you can see the same pattern on the inside.
The check pattern is also from the Well Suited patterned paper and I added braces and used Silver Foil to die cut the clasps and adjusters.
This card has three flaps so you can open the middle shirt section to reveal the inside of the card where you have your message.

If you did not see yesterday’s post, here is a sample of both designs which look completely different from one another. I have seen some wonderfully inventive designs to make the card look like a doctors uniform, a tuxedo for a wedding, a pullover, a cricket jumper, the list goes on.
This is such a versatile set and I will never struggle to make a card for the men in my life again.
